Harvested fro 515 vines, all clone G9V7, from the early ripening section of our Chardonnay block. A young fresh wine with a tight citrus line through the mid-palate with hints of spice and candied ginger. The use of 25% new oak (10 months) balances the elegant fruit.
6 months on lees in 2yo French oak barrels, displays delicate hints of spice, a rich and textural mid palate with flavours of honey & sweet lime juice, finishes with typical vineyard acidity.
Harvested from 810 from the top of our Pinot Noir block, clones Burg 80a, 0014 & 140a. Light garnet in colour, very aromatic with light berry flavours, a little sweetness mid palate with flavours of marzipan and Turkish delight. The use of 25% new French oak (10 months) perfectly balances the fruit and soft tannins. Harvested in late March and limited to less than 100 dozen.

Some whole bunch and older oak barrels deliver flavours of mint, black current and plum, bright purple with a sweet jamminess that is balanced brilliantly with 25% new French oak (9 months) and gentle tannins. Hints of white and peppers, spice and earthiness give this wine a long future. Harvested mid April and limited to less than 50 dozen.
Our Riesling is still produced from 5 different clones enhancing the continued varietal flavours. Brilliantly clear with a steely crispness (typical of the site) natural acidity, hints of sweet lime juice and light floral aromas, followed with an elegant fresh long lasting finish.
Enjoy young or watch it develop over the next 10 - 15 years.
Our seventh Méthode Traditionelle is made from dry grown handpicked grapes. A blend of Pinot Noir 55% and Chardonnay 45% displaying a gently perfumed bouquet, balanced brilliantly with crisp acidity and a lively palate leading to a rich brioche and creamy finish. Arguably one of our best sparklings yet.
An extremely light gold colour, initial flavours of rosewater with floral notes followed by hints of melon and musk. Beautifully balanced with fruit and acidity and a crisp dry finish.

2020 Old Apple Block Chardonnay
After spending 10 months in French oak (30% new), this wine is brilliant light golden straw in colour, hints of citrus and white peach surrounded with hints of toasty cashew and a wonderful complex creamy multi layered finish from extended time spent on lees.
Planted in 94 & 95 our Pinot Noir block is one of the few north facing blocks in Lenswood. The multi clonal site (12 in fact) produces in the cool years wine that light and aromatic, whereas in the warmer years the wines generally need a few years to truly reflect the power and intensity the vineyard is renowned for.
Mt Lofty Ranges Vineyard S&G Shiraz 2014 (2 bottles) or 2018 Your choice! (RRP $85 WM $74.90)
$74.90
A dark plum colour which immediately reflects the origin of this wine.
The bouquet is extremely complex with hints of white pepper, aniseed, wood smoke and flashes of star anise.
The palate is rich and lush from start to finish and has excellent breadth and length. The mid palate explodes with luscious red and black fruits with a touch of menthol forming a structural base that ensures very good cellaring potential to 2030.
100% whole bunch pressed and wild fermented in one year old French oak for 10 months.
The fruit for our Shiraz has been selected from a small parcel of land located not too far from our own vineyard. At approximately 300 metres above sea level the site is quite warm by comparison, however, the wine in the cooler years is young and fresh and in warmer years the true Shiraz characteristics are exhibited by full bodied wines that will reward time in the cellar.
