Raspberry, black cherry, olive tapenade and oolong tea are framed by a subtle char toast character.
Hints of sea spray and a distinct Campari note linger.
The gorgeous aromatics flow through to the palate, with fresh dark cherries and raspberries to the fore.
Underlying subtle red spice, sumac and paprika compliment rosemary and oregano herbaceous flavours. Quartz like acidity provides vibrancy, framed by fine “al dente” tannins.
Origin: Tasmania, Henty.
Maturation: Seven months in French oak barriques (14% new).
Wine Analysis: Alc/Vol: 14%, Acidity: 5.8 g/L, pH: 3.58.
Variety: Pinot Noir.
